World War Z by Matt Brooks, Day 7 page 148-168

           Today I read about a man named Joe Muhammad a paraplegic who survived World War Z by rolling his wheel chair fast enough to stay ahead of the zombies. he was able to do this on his own for a time until he eventually settled in Washington. while there he became a member of his towns neighborhood patrol, meaning that he would patrol the streets at night with a squad and check houses to see if everything was okay and to get help to the homeless squatters. he occasionally ran across a zombie but very rarely had to re-kill it as his squad would usually get to them first. he also details a few of his experiences with quislings, people who became so broken by the horror around them that they turned into zombies mentally and began acting just like them.


           This story real made me think about whether or not a disabled person could survive a huge crisis.
